My name is Joseph Nadeau. I’ve been active as a choral conductor and educator for 30 years. I am passionate about the LGBTQIA+ Choral and Justice Choir Movements.

My education includes an undergraduate degree in Music Education and both a Masters Degree and Doctoral Degree in Musical Arts, with an emphasis on Choral Conducting. I am currently pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Non Profit Management.

Today, I serve on the GALA Choruses Board of Directors and am the Co-Chair of the quadrennial international GALA Festival. I am Artistic Director for Fountain City Performing Arts KC and Conductor for OUTside Voices KC - an adult mixed chorus dedicated to creating artistry through aspiration and activism towards social justice. I am also an educator in the Shawnee Mission School District.
